#tw death mention #in the tags #yeah I basically write a whole essay in the tags sorry 😔 #thinking mostly about his enclave past #idk it just makes me feel sad? #like I’m about to talk about something that isn’t serious irl but I like thinking about it #bc like arcade wasn’t even a part in the enclave it was his parents and the other remnants who were #yet he has to spend his whole life running away and surviving because of the ncr found him he’d be jailed or killed #like that’s sad! #and when you’re on his story quest he talks about how he hasn’t been able to trust anyone and how he feels about his father #like if I remember correctly he doesn’t even know how his dad died bc no one will tell him #and he’s torn between wanting to make his dad proud and just leaving everything about the enclave behind #and what does that get him? #the only endings where he stays in new vegas are when you side with yes man and get an independent new vegas #the rest are just like ‘oh yeah he’s a slave now’ ‘oh yeah he ran and was never seen again’ ‘oh yeah the ncr got him’ #dude literally kills himself if you sell him to Caesar that’s fucking sad! #but I’m probably reading into this a lot it doesn’t mean anything #if anyone wants to discuss this I’m free every year besides 2034
