I hope (and believe) this game is going to make more people interested in the era and probably keen on more WW1 dogfighting And 'slightly' unrealistic battle-pace in a trench war is not going to be a problem We know they are going to deliver great visuals and overdone physics (at least on ground level) and that's fine. (Gyro, climbrate, structural integrity? etc)įrom what I've seen there is a decent verity of aircraft available, from single-seaters, to bombers, to Zeppelins! I'm not asking for simulated realism cause we know that won't happen, but some historical accuracy and give these kites some characteristics. If every single Dreidecker is red, it's just going to bring bad memories from Flyboys. Flight model, they really need to step up their game.
There is a few things though that can ruin this for me: Going back to WW1 is a beautiful decision IMO, any futuristic / modern setting and it would just be more of the same. It has been a while since I've been this hyped about a Battlefield game.
